My name is Brian Barrett. The name Brian means Strength & Honor, which I embody and implement in my daily life. I have been a P.E. teacher in Denver, CO for over 5 years now. I do have a passion to work with and empower the next generations through learning healthy lifestyles and skills through my instruction. I have a decent history of traveling around the world via mission trips, and would love to continue doing so in the years to come!
Who I am:
Loyal, brave, a fighter, a thrill-seeker, comrade, joyful, a dreamer, an instructor, attentive, faithful, a lover, caring, an adventurer, and one willing to go the extra mile for anyone.
I am indeed a Christian, but not a "stereotypical" Christian who simply goes to Church and bible study. I do not believe in shoving the Bible in people's faces, but rather be a friend who will simply lives life as best as possible with others. I do believe in the Bible. I believe in Jesus. I am a Kingdom-minded Man of God who desires for people to see Him through me. Many people may be offended or frown on my beliefs, but to each their own. I have challenged my own beliefs, and have a main conclusion in 2 rules: Love God, and do what you want. It's all about a personal relationship with Him, and not all those Old Covenant rules. Religion is man's attempt to become like God. If one is indeed in Love with God, then the things they do are in line with what God desires from each of us.
